On to the next. I know hate is a strong word but I absolutely HATE washing my hands and showering with my wedding ring on. Water gets stuck under it, it gets slippery slidey and I have a mini heart attack every time I wash my hair or think it's going to fall off in the sink. So, I got one of those ring holders but thanks to my amazing husband and my two bands along with my engagement ring it doesn't fit. I can't just set it on my sink because well that's a disaster waiting to happen and when I put it on my vanity I can never find it under my clothes I throw on top. So what to do? I put a towel hook next to my sink and presto problem solved. AND it's next to my light so I won't forget it! Here are up close and a far away pictures.

Bathroom Talk
Before I let you see pictures of my bathroom let me explain that my house was built in 1895, our house is a gem but the bathroom is a little dated and we have only lived here over a month so it is not done yet. Ok, now that you understand I thought I may share some little tricks that you may already know but they are a staple for us. So first things first, toilet paper. Don't you just hate when you run out and you have to get up to get it because your bathroom isn't big enough for one of those fancy toilet paper holders? Me too, which is why I went to Homegoods and got a paper towel holder for under $5,put my extra rolls on there and tucked it behind my toilet for a rainy day, ha get rainy day? Ok that's gross. But here is a picture. It's very convienent.

Painted Letters
I painted some letters for my soon to be here niece's nursery that match her wall decal and bedding. I think all baby's need their name above their crib so they don't forget who they are. I got the letters at the greatest place on earth aka Hobby Lobby for 1/2 off at $1.50 a letter which is a steal!! I had the paints and rhinestones so total this project cost me less than $10 but a whole lot of time about an hour per letter which is a lot when you have an 8 month old. Online these letters are expensive because their so time consuming so give it a try and if you find out that you just aren't a painter, hey at least you tried and you can just buy some craft paper and modge podge over them! Oh and if you find out you're not a painter or a modge podger let me know and I'll paint them for you :)
DIAPER 4-WHEELER!!
So, my sis in laws baby shower was this past weekend and hubbs and I wanted to make something special that suited her so we decided on a diaper 4-wheeler. What is a diaper 4-wheeler you ask? Well, it's a new spin on the diaper cake but instead it's shaped like a 4-wheeler. I saw a tutorial on pinterest from Finding My Way's Blog but put my own spin on it. Our's consists of 9 baby wash clothes, 100 diapers, a teething ring, teething key's (uh duh a 4-wheeler needs keys), 6 receiving blankets, 4 bibs, a dishwasher basket, portable wipe case, rattle socks, 2 bottles, a stuffed pig and a newborn tutu dress. I did the tires differently too because I thought they looked cool this way but the way I did is a lot more tedious and you have to do it just right or the whole tire will be out of wack. To make the tutu dress I got the idea from be crafty be creative be cute's blog but used a larger headband and tied bows in the back with tulle to cover up the ugly seam. But here's the final product! I can't share all of my secrets on how it is different because I plan on selling these but you can get the gist of how it's made. It was a hit at the shower and we are so proud of our creation.
